Castlepoint shutting down?

I was informed that Castlepoint let go of almost all of their retail staff last week. Rumor is they lost their warehouse line and are going only broker with who they have left. Anybody have any more information then them. With both them and Champion gone, that's alot of unemployed LO's in the Parsippany NJ area. Where are all these people going?

Rumor has it that member's of the executive team at Castle Point as well as LO's have started a new company Clear Summit Mortgage. The new HQ of Clear Summit is located in office space previously occupied by CPM and still believed to be under lease by CPM. A parsippany office has also been established but is unlisted at this time.

whew dodged that bullet. I was offered a position in their MD office a few months ago, but decided to take a bank job instead.. I feel bad, they had like 60 or 70 LOS working there, However they did seem like the traditional chop shop.. kids 18-20 walking around in torn shorts and t shirts.. loud music blaring from their PC speakers.. I wasnt very impressed.. I know they did a ton of business though

Why bother when you can give some money to your friends and have them start you a new business.
