I know they are rapidly changing their requirements. I had a prequalification, they changed the minimum FICO score to 530 and she was below it, but they couldn't get it reviewed by the time frame (loan had to close by 2/25). I reran her credit and her score had improved and was now up to 541. I was told "rescores" were not accepted, but now the minimum score is 580. |

Warehouse line full of sub 530 Fico's they can't sell. So they blame it on U/W taking 4 weeks. TERRIBLE SERVICE... |

All this means is they are hoping and praying they can get Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac approval and start selling agency stuff... otherwise, they are SOL. A stronger company? I doubt it. |

Yes I agree. They should of closed the 19th when they quit funding loans. That's my main thing with these company's going under or warehouse lines maxing out, just kill me, don't kill me slowly. I can handle the truth not two plus weeks of BS |

Father, Son, Accountant Face Tax Fraud Charges
Friday, February 29, 2008 - WBAL Radio as reported by Robert Lang
A father and son who owned a mortgage company in Baltimore face a federal indictment on tax fraud charges, after prosecutors allege they diverted $1.9-million from a mortgage company they owned to pay for personal family expenses.
Their accountant has also been indicted for allegedly helping the pair file false tax returns.
In the 10 count indictment handed up today, Stilianos (Stan) Mavroulis, 63, and his son Kyriakos (Kirk) Mavroulis, 26, diverted the money from Fidelity Home Mortgage Corporation to pay for personal family expenses including personal stock investments, trips to Greece, and a music promotions company that Stan Mavroulis owned in Greece.
The indictment alleges the pair diverted the money from 1998 until 2004.
The indictment also names the Mavroulis'' accountant Joseph Poole of Grasonville, who allegedly filed false tax returns for the company from 2000 until 2003.
The indictment also alleges the father and son also caused the mortgage company to pay Kirk Mavroulis and four other children "under the table" to avoid paying personal income taxes.
U.S. Attorney Rod Rosenstein would not say if the other Marvoulis children are under investigation.
If convicted Stan Mavroulis faces 17-years in prison on charges of conspiracy to defraud the United States and four counts of making and subscribing false tax returns. Kirk Mavroulis faces eight years in prison. Poole faces 17 years in prison if convicted on the charges against him.
All three are due to appear in U.S. District Court in Baltimore on March 14.
