i remember the mandatory conference call at New century. The whole thing was funny as h**l. It was announced for 12:30 PST as well, 3:30 our time.
They wanted us in the room at 3, so we all went in their and some RVP is up their at 3 ranting about nothing to worry about, this call is to tell us how everything is moving forward blah blah blah, on and on. The guy kept going until 3:25 and said any questions? Numerous hands went up because every blackberry in the room got the google news about the BK filing at 3:15.

Me again jumper, are you talking about the meeting last march about a month after they announced trouble? My wife was in that meeting and said it was hilarious the guy didnt know how to handle anything and she said you could tell he was just regurgitating the c**p from the memo he got.
It was sad that it hurt so many people but my wife made out like a bandit.
?She was only working their to get out of the house, so our lives wouldnt turn into a lifetime movie 10 an hour nothing special. When they started the layoffs they bumped her to 14/hr and schedule was 9-3 on mondays and she still got paid for 40 hours. She asked if she could work 10-4 easier with traffic the boss man said just come in at 10 but you have to leave by 3.
