This is the email we received today from our Texas based company:
Dear Mavericks,
A mistake was made through our payroll company. Please do not touch the money that was direct deposited. The exact amount of money deposited will be pulled back out of your account.
We are in the process of correcting the situation and working to get the actual payroll to you as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience.
Please contact me with any questions.

Uhhhh, that's not a good sign, I'd lock my account immediately and demand an explanation. First Fed did this to me last year, put me in the nagative doing it and I had ridiculous overdraft fees that I could not get back. |

Cash that money out right now. Change your account number. Call your bank. They have no legal right to pull money out of your account. If they overpaid you, then tell them you will write them a check. Hurry. |

Is Maverick a net-branch or wholesale?
If you guys in TX are looking for a new home, I have more business than I can handle right now. All 50 states, no FHA/VA, all broker deals with in house underwriting. |

what I know about maverick, is they are a wholesale net branch bank. if that makes any sense.
oh, and the fees in Vegas are freakin horrible.
max 80% split to the LO, and 1800 in fees to the borrower |

If this is a ''net branch''. I would be careful about giving my payroll moneys back. If you have read about firstmagnus / charter funding. Then be aware! |

ALL Loans that were scheduled to close today have been cancelled. Maverick has NO available funds.
It just keeps getting better.... |
