Ive been working with them for 2 years. The only good thing about them is that they do a lot of our out-of-state loans for us by acting as the broker on our behalf. Other than that they are not that great (slow underwriting, average products) |

Thanks for the info sachcan9, I know many people there and haven't heard or seen anything in the news regarding their operation, thought they might be doing something differently than the other lenders that have imploded. Are they correspondant to DB? do they have their own portfolio products? |

WOW, you would have to have been on a desert island for the past 13+ years to not have known that Sherson Lehman changed their name to Lehman Brothers. This occured in 1994. |

Randall,
It looks to me that in the first case appears to be a broker not the wholesale, in the second case appears to be Shearson Wholesale, and in the third case appears to be many entities, including one with AmEx and another with Lehman Brothers, so is kind of confusing...
Maybe somebody here have some more accurate information.
Now, about the lawsuits, well is not surprising this days that a lender is being sued by a borrower (Heck... it happened to the Implode-O-Meter by a lender!!!!!) |

I know for a fact that they let most of their employees go about 6 to 8 months ago, one of my good friends was on the list. They kept a small skeleton crew of about 10 people, I do have a friend still working there who says they feel like the end is near for them, just a matter of time. |

Funny, both of those websites say they are looking for staff: AE's, AM's, U/Writers, Funders, Servicers, QC, Acct, Programmer
So, are they back on the rise? Or does their website contain aged information? |
