As usual, the people that worked hard and knew what they were doing are out on their ear. The guys who screwed things up are still large and in charge with their cushy salaries.
Yes, I think WAMU management has been among the worst.

Just received an email from my corporate office. The following is an email they received from our Rep....
Dear Brokers:
Hey I wanted to let my friends know that I just heard WaMu is exiting the Wholesale lending business! The last day to submit a file electronically to us is 4-10-08 and we’ll be around to close out the remaining pipeline.
I’ll let you know more when I have more information, but suffice to say it’s been a pleasure working with you these last 15 years!

OK, not to say that the whole thing isn't sad, but it' THIS that pisses me off!
Good people who have been in the business for a long time, before this mess; losing their jobs.
Of course I don't know who this person is, I'm just making a general comment about those (new, money hungry know nothings) that ruined this industry for the ones in it for the long haul. |

This just in - Wamu will now close all the retail Home Loan Centers by end of month - so will be retracted down to BLC in branch level only. |

Dont you think that they are slimming down so they are more attractive to be purchased? Just my thoughts but it make sense to me. I am very sorry to all affectied by this decision. God Bless. |
