Brightgreen Home Loans Inc. Failing to Start?
PostPosted: Fri Aug 21, 2009 4:08 am Reply with quoteBack to top

1st Metropolitan Mortgage should be added to the IMPLODED list having sold themselves to a company called Hestia Financial recently in the worst deal ever made IMHO. Hestia is owned by the people who formerly owned the failed MBI Financial, a company that went public long enough to lose it's investors a ton of cash before sinking. The principals in that fiasco now seem to be trying to start Brightgreen Home Loans Inc. with the left over MetBranch locations. (precious few of those left!)

Apparently paying execs a bundle while not paying vendors or branch expenses is the new strategy. Hope it works for those who stick around for it.

Twisted Evil or Snarky

Lending is about to commence. Some people don't have much patience, or they are hoping the company doesn't make it.

"Lending is about to commence. Some people don't have much patience, or they are hoping the company doesn't make it." quote from Nov 2009, not only is there wonder about "when will lending commence:" there is also that small concern "Is my paycheck any good"

Again. Some people just don't want to believe because they think that these things happen overnight. It will happen. It will be great.

But Brightgreen keeps going on Twitter and Facebook to announce..."lending will commence by end of January"..."lending will commence in 2 weeks or less". At least your ofiice pictures on Facebook look nice!

When you call the main number of 1st Met, they are still answering the phone, "1st Metropolitan Mortgage"! When I told them I was looking for Bright Green Home Loans, the lady that answered that it was the same company? Strange, why not answer, 1st Metropolitan Home Loans/Bright Green Home Loans? Embarrassed? Or something else?
