I know of a good way to give the auto manufacturers a bailout that would be a good deal for us taxpayers. Offer to buy stock in massive blocks. Preferred Stock at a 50% discount. It would at least be fun to see them choke on their fillet mingion on their private jets as they fly back to Detroit.
